MORRISTOWN — After nearly 30 years in nursing, Judy L. Bogart, Morristown, has helped a fair number of people in need.

Towne Meeting, August 27 at 7:00pm - Clinton Comm. College, Plattsburgh, NY

The band, Towne Meeting, formed in 2006 and has gained a following throughout northern New York, as well as the capital region and northern Vermont. The band consists of five members; Gary VanCour, Miles Moody, Justin VanCour, Rich Sutphen & Dennis Hulbert whose strength is known for great vocal harmonies. Their musical roots are in folk but their concerts include many other genres from acoustic rock to country. Since the focus of the evening will be on the ecological aspects of the Mission, the group will highlight songs relating to the earth and our environment. An example of one of these songs is, “Whose Garden Was This?” by Tom Paxton. There will also be familiar song selections from the band’s two CDs entitled “Stillwater” and “Looking Back,” along with several other tunes. Come and enjoy a great evening of music for a worthy cause. Admission price – Donation at the door.
